The 5th and 6th grade class is designed to help students put wheels on their faith. The lessons are designed to challenge students to take the principles of the Bible and put them into action. The 5th and 6th grade class is open during the 9:15 and 10:45am services.
We know that 5th and 6th grade students are in a stage of life where they are beginning to have a lot of questions. The 5th and 6th grade class is a place where they can feel comfortable to ask those questions.
Our teachers follow a curriculum that is series based, meaning that every few weeks a new set of lessons will engage and strengthen your child's faith.
Like every children's class, our volunteers have all been through an application process that includes a multi-state background check.
We also offer a monthly night of fun for our 5th & 6th graders called diversion 56. Diversion 56 runs from 6:30 to 8:00pm at Sycamore Creek Church once a month on a Monday night. Our desire is to give our 5th and 6th graders a night where they can show up, be crazy, have fun and build relationships with one another. For more information or if you have any questions about this class or diversion 56 please contact Tommy Riley out student pastor at email@example.com.
*The next Diversion 56 will be Monday, February 26.
